These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Jambu Edu (the "Service"), including the website at https://jambuedu.com, mobile applications, and related APIs, operated by Jambu Edu (Mayank Web Storage). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Users under 18 should use the Service only with consent and supervision of a parent, guardian, or educational institution.
Jambu Edu is a school and education management platform. Features may include attendance, exams, results, homework, fees, library, transport, chat, marketplace, subscriptions, and role-based tools for students, teachers, parents, school admins, academic admins, suppliers, and platform administrators. Available features depend on your role, institution configuration, and active subscription plan.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful educational and business purposes. You must not:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Schools may collect fees from students or parents through the platform. Fee amounts, due dates, and policies are set by the school. Online fee payments are processed by Razorpay; by paying online you also agree to Razorpay's applicable terms. We are a technology provider, not the merchant of record for school fees unless explicitly stated by your institution.
Schools and academic suppliers may purchase subscription plans for platform access. Prices, billing cycles (monthly/yearly), trial periods, and included features are shown at purchase or assigned by your administrator. Subscriptions renew for the selected period unless cancelled as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Stated prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise noted. Applicable GST or other taxes may be added as required by law. Invoices and payment receipts may be issued electronically.
If a payment fails or is disputed, access to paid features may be limited until resolved. Chargebacks without contacting support first may result in account suspension.
Academic suppliers may list products subject to approval. Orders between schools and suppliers are transactions between those parties; we facilitate listing and order workflow but are not responsible for product quality, delivery, or supplier conduct except as required by law.
The Service, including software, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain rights to content you submit; you grant us a license to host and display it to operate the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data. By using the Service you acknowledge that policy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION. ACADEMIC DECISIONS REMAIN THE RESPONSIBILITY OF YOUR INSTITUTION.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) INR 5,000.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
The Service integrates with third parties including Razorpay (payments), SMS providers (OTP), and cloud hosts. Their use is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policies beyond our reasonable control.
We may modify features or these Terms by posting updates on this page. Material changes take effect when posted unless otherwise stated. We or your institution may suspend or terminate access for violations or operational reasons. Provisions that should survive termination (including liability limits and governing law) remain in effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws that may apply to you.
